If you arrive before check-in, we'll hold your luggage so you can begin your vacation right away. Check-out time is 11:00a.m. If your flight departs later, you can also leave your luggage with us and spend as much time as possible beside the sea, soaking up the sun.
Airport transfers are not included. We could arrange your transfers from/to the airport. If you are interested, please let us know your flight details at least 1 day prior arrival and we will send you your confirmation. The ride takes less than 30min from Zakynthos International Airport.
You can pay your due balance either upon your arrival at our front desk, or before your arrival via Bank Transfer or Credit card.
A car rental is advised if you want to travel off Porta del mar beach villas to explore the island. Let us know if you need a car rental and we will help you arrange it.
Euro is the legal tender in Zakynthos Greece. Most merchants in Zakynthos town accept major credit cards, i.e. VISA®, MasterCard®, Maestro® etc. Most merchants outside Zakynthos town and near Porta del mar villas DO NOT accept credit cards.
You may want to enjoy optional on-site services (food, drinks, etc.). We can put all the costs on the room and you can pay us at the end of your holiday. You may check your detailed orders anytime you wish in the front desk.
All common areas of this resort and all of the villas have Wi-Fi coverage for your convenience. Instant access to the Internet may be obtained by simply connecting to the network. You will be given the Wi-Fi password upon your arrival. You can connect as many devices as you wish. In case your device has problems connecting, let us know to provide you with a signal repeater into your villa.
There is a medical assistance doctor team available 24/7 and in case of an emergency they are able to offer you their services on site. There are pharmacies within 5km from your villa and the hospital at 12km.
230 volts, 50 Hz, Type F power sockets in Greece. If you are coming from the UK you need a power plug adapter. Hair dryers are already included in every villa, so you may leave that out of your packing list.
There is not a particular dressing code in Porta del mar resort. While the sun is up, your shorts, tank tops, swim suits, short-sleeved shirts, sundresses and light slacks are the perfect attire. As the sun sets and you set out to enjoy the evening, a more proper attire is welcome.
Pack lightly; one large suitcase with a carry-on is ideal. Casual wear is perfect. Don' t worry about beach towels, we do provide them. Pack your snorkel. Pack your power adapters.
In the summer months, mosquitoes are quite annoying in the evenings. We have adjusted a mosquito net in a every single door and window of your villa for your convenience. Please do not forget to use them. We advise you to bring or get an anti-mosquito creme to use while you spend your evenings outdoors.
Gift items are available upon request including flower arrangements, champagne and gift baskets.
There is a laundry service in Porta del mar beach villas. You can pass up to a 5kg clothing each time to the cleaning lady who will take care of the laundry. There is a small fee for each laundry.
Under no circumstance will a tip be required or solicited. In the event you wish to tip our stuff there is a tip glass in the bar.
We will try to accommodate the special needs of our guests to the best of our abilities. Ground floor villas, gardens and dining areas are reachable by wheelchairs.
Tap water is excellent for cooking. We recommend you to buy bottled mineral water for drinking.
Vaccinations are not necessary. However, we suggest that you speak to your doctor for more information.
There are toys, table games, dvd movies available for the children.
You can rest assured that we'll will work very closely with you and our chef can ensure that the appropriate meals are available.
